My Life Motto:
“BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED.”
Theme Scripture:
“For it was only through His wonderful grace that we believed in Him. Nothing we did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the gracious gift from God that brought us to Christ, so no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.” Eph 2:8

Your NEW Identity in Christ (Part 2)
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Cor 5:17
Prior or before SALVATION, before you commit your life to Jesus, the spirit within you was dead according to Ephesians 2:1 “And His fullness fills you, even though you were once corpses, dead in your sins and offences.” [TPT] In this verse the word ‘DEAD’ means ‘SEPARATION’ so this was a spiritual death, not a physical one. Death in this context doesn’t mean CEASING TO EXIST! When a person physically dies they don’t cease to exist, the Bible teaches us that they go immediately into the presence of God or into the presence of hell depending on whether they accepted Jesus or not, but the soul and the spirit continues to live., while the body is decaying in the grave. When Gen 2:7 says :” But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.” it did not mean that Adam and Even will die physically, but it meant that they will become separated from God’s supernatural life. This meant men will continue living, but operating independent of God, separately from God. We are made in the image of God, operating independently from God causes emotional stress and bring chaos into our lives.
At SALVATION the person receives a NEW SPIRIT and are born again at that moment, conversion takes place. God literally places His spirit inside of us, and we receive a new quality of life!
